What does a brief cost?
An agent brief starts at $1,500, fixed price. Expert sign-off adds $2,500. Larger problems that need more agents cost more. We scope the problem with you first, and you approve the price and delivery date before any work starts.
What’s the difference between an agent brief and a signed brief?
An agent brief is drafted and delivered by expert agents, with sources for every claim, but no human reviews it. With expert sign-off, a named PhD reviews, edits and signs the brief before you see it, and it comes with our money-back guarantee.
What if the brief doesn’t help?
Signed briefs come with a money-back guarantee: if the brief doesn’t give you a usable path forward, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we refund the full price. Agent briefs are not covered, so for high-stakes decisions we recommend adding expert sign-off. The exact terms are in your engagement agreement.
How is this like a staffing agency?
You tell us what you need, we find and vet the right expert agents, and you pay per engagement. Start with one brief. Founding clients can move on to projects and to agents on call for their team.
Isn’t this just a chatbot?
No. Any model can read published papers. A Kenning agent also carries its expert’s judgment, captured in a structured interview: what failed, which methods they trust and where the real limits are. It stays inside its field and cites its sources.
Can I share confidential details?
Yes, once an NDA is in place. Describe the problem in one line in the form or by email, and we send an NDA before you share anything sensitive.
What happens if an agent gets something wrong?
Agents stay inside a declared scope and cite their sources, so your team can check every claim. When you need a person accountable, add expert sign-off. Each engagement has a written contract that sets scope and liability before work starts.
What about patents and IP?
An AI can’t be named as an inventor. Ownership, licensing and inventorship between you, Kenning, the expert and their university are agreed in writing before any work begins.
Which fields do you cover?
We start with materials, process engineering, applied chemistry and sustainability R&D. If your problem is in another field, send it anyway: we use requests to decide where to go next.
What do you do with my details?
Only one thing: we contact you about your request. This site sets no cookies, uses no tracking and loads nothing from third parties. Your message is sent to us by email and is not stored in a database. The privacy policy has the details.
